Sprouts Farmers Market to Replace Orchard Hardware
This news comes after Lowe’s Companies President and CEO, Marvin Ellison, announced August 2018 that it was a, “…necessary business decision to exit Orchard Supply Hardware.”
Sprouts Farmers Market is a Phoenix, Arizona grocery chain that offers fresh, natural and organic foods at great prices. It was started by the Boney family who are long-time San Diego grocers. The first store was opened in Chandler, AZ in 2002 and now currently has 300 stores in 19 states. Don’t have time to go shopping when they officially open? Sprouts is a partner of grocery delivery company, Instacart.
American Social Restaurant & Bar to Open In August
American Social, nicknamed “AMSO” offers an upscale yet casual dining experience and specializes in American cuisine. This restaurant is sure to be a hit between its sports bar atmosphere and live music. It is replacing where Bar Louie used to be in the stunning Rialto plaza on Sand Lake Rd. With weekly events and specials, there will always be something going on. Their happy hour which is offered Monday through Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm, features $6 food items and 50% off select liquors, beers and wines.
Amura Has Re-Branded. Is Now Called, Akasaka Sushi
Amura, a local Japanese sushi, and Hibachi restaurant has quietly changed management, done renovations and is now going by the name Akasaka Sushi. The restaurant is full service and also offers takeout. They also feature a variety of house specialty rolls made only with the freshest ingredients. They are open for lunch, feature a happy hour from 5-7pm, and offer a diverse dinner menu. If you’re looking for an authentic Japenese meal. Akasaka is certainly a new place to try!
BRAVO! Cucina Italia to Be Replaced By True Food Kitchen
The Italian restaurant BRAVO, was the longtime occupant of the iconic corner spot location in the luxurious Dellagio Town Center. This prime spot of real estate has been vacant for the past few months, and many rumors have spread regarding what would fill the space. Well, It’s finally confirmed, and the Oprah backed True Food Kitchen will be moving in! True Food Kitchen looks to offer foods that are both delicious, and also good for you. As they put it, ” food should make you feel better, not worse”.
True Food Kitchen will be opening its first location in Central Florida right here in Dr. Phillips. It looks to offer a wide variety of dining options, from lunch to dinner, happy hour, and even brunch featuring a pre-meal yoga session! There isn’t a set opening date yet but we will be sure to share more information when we receive it.
